Spring showers and flowers are coming to the Seattle area this month as the weather finally warms up. At Blue Flame, we love to celebrate each season with our customers! We’ve compiled a list of fun spring events in Seattle, WA for you to enjoy with your friends or family. Check them out and let us know how you’ll be celebrating spring in the comments below.

Tulip Festival

April 1-30

Tulips will be popping up and blooming bright for the entire month of April in Mount Vernon. RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town have partnered to provide millions of tulips for visitors to experience and photograph in the farm fields of Skagit Valley at the Tulip Festival.

Guests can drive on trails through the tulip fields and stop for pictures in designated tulip gardens. The grounds are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily April 1-30. On April 19-21, Mount Vernon will also host a Tulip Festival Street Fair with artisan vendors, food trucks, and live performances that guests can enjoy when they aren’t busy touring the tulips.

Washington State Spring Fair

April 11-14

Whether you are looking for a creative date idea, a fun day with friends, or a treat for the whole family, the Washington State Spring Fair delivers. Check out pig races, stunt shows, tractor pulls, carnival rides, BBQ contests, live concerts, motorsports, and more at this year’s fair. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for kids until April 10. Once the fair begins, the prices rise to $12 and $10.

Spring Bling Fling Boat Party

April 13

Celebrate spring break aboard the Islander Yacht at the Spring Bling Fling Boat Party. This two-story boat offers gorgeous views of Lake Washington and the Seattle skyline, plus DJs spinning pop, hip hop, and reggae tunes. Tickets range from $25-100.

Dog B’egg Easter Egg Hunt

April 20

Calling all dog owners! Bring your pup to Camp Charlie’s private off-leash park for a special Easter B’egg Hunt. Eggs filled with dog treats will be hidden all over the fields for dogs to sniff out while they make some new friends from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is a free event sponsored by Homeward Pet Adoption Center. Donations for their adoptable animals are encouraged.

Easter Brunch Cruise

April 21

Munch on some brunch while you cruise along Lake Union or Lake Washington this Easter Sunday! The Easter Brunch Cruise by Waterways Cruises and Events includes a 2-hour cruise, champagne or sparkling cider, a private table, an enormous brunch buffet, a full-service bar, and Easter crafts and treats for kids. Your boat captain will narrate the sights of Seattle while you take in the beautiful views.

Tickets are $83.95 for adults and $41.95 for kids. Kids under 4 years old can climb aboard for free. The cruise will depart at 10 a.m. and return at 12:30 p.m.

Apple Blossom Festival

April 25 – May 5

Since 1919, Washington state residents have gathered to enjoy the Apple Blossom Festival.  This event is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and is bigger and better than ever. Attractions include carnival rides, a food fair, a golf tournament, live entertainment on stage in Memorial Park, the Youth Parade, an arts and crafts fair, and the Grand Parade.

Olympia Spring Arts Walk

April 26-27

Every spring and fall businesses in downtown Olympia transform their spaces to include art, demonstrations, and performances. At the Olympia Spring Arts Walk visitors can stroll through town and shop for local art, watch live pop up performances, and enjoy the Procession of the Species animal costume parade by Earthbound. The arts walk celebration will last from 5 -10 p.m. on April 26 and noon – 8 p.m. on April 27.

Protégé Trapeze Show

April 27

Watch as trapeze artists fly through the air performing tricks and flips on stage at the Protégé Trapeze Show. Tickets to watch these incredible acrobats are just $10. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
